Reading books daily or monthly has a plethora of health benefits! Not only is reading super good for the brain, but it is also pretty fun to do!

6. Write in journal

You can create a gratitude journal or a journal to simply write about how your day went.
7. Floss
How often do you floss? If you floss your teeth every night, kudos to you!! This is one of the habits that people put in habit trackers and such to see how often they do it or skip out on it.
I’m embarrassed to say how often I floss, but it is definitely something I include in my habit tracker.
8. Drink more water
Drinking water flushes out your toxins, lubricates your muscles, bones, and tendons, and has a plethora of other health benefits.
Everybody probably knows that they could do with drinking more water. It is incredibly healthy for you!
9. Set priorities for your day
Starting your day with a to-do list really helps you to have an incredibly productive day. Finding a productive daily routine that you can stick to is what will set you apart from most people.
It’s also best to write out your priorities for the day the night before. It gives you a reason to wake up early and grind and will also aid in self-motivation.

10. Take vitamins
Taking daily vitamins can definitely help boost your immune system, provide the minerals supplements you may be missing due to lack of intake depending on the food you eat or not.
You’ll notice your body changing very subtly when you start to take vitamins- especially multivitamins.
When people get sick, people often ask, “Did you take vitamins?” For some reason, it does wonders at keeping people healthy.

1. You don’t have to start big
Changing only one habit is enough. As mentioned earlier, changing one habit results in a domino effect of you noticing other habits you’d like to start as well. You can then add them to your daily habits to track.
2. How long does it take to build a habit?
On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic. This is dependent on a lot of things.
There was a study done on people to see how long it would take them to develop a new habit, it took from 2-8 months. It could range from 18 to 254 days. Most people think that it takes exactly 21 days, but the reality is it could be more or fewer days.
3. What if you miss a day?
It doesn’t really matter if you mess up every once in a while. Starting new habits is a process and the longer you spend working to make it automatic, the more likely that it will be.
Missing or skipping a day will not break you or your cycle. You just have to start back up the next day.
